All of our Continental Recipe Bases contain no artificial colours, flavours and added MSG, and are made with real ingredients, simply dried and combined to create a perfectly balanced flavour for your favourite dish. This Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe Base is made with real tomato, basil, garlic, onion, black pepper. All you need is beef mince, a can of chopped tomatoes, some mushrooms and spaghetti to have dinner ready in no time. You can also add other veggies such as diced carrots for a tasty twist! Ingredients

Sugar, corn starch, maltodextrin, salt, vegetable powders (tomato, onion, garlic), wheat flour, mineral salt (potassium chloride), colour (paprika), natural flavours, sunflower oil, yeast extract, pepper, basil, vegetable gum (xanthan). Contains naturally occurring glutamates.

Preparation Instructions

Just add... 2 teaspoons oil 500g lean minced beef 1 pack Continental Recipe Base 1 cup (250mL) water 1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes 1 cup sliced mushrooms 250g dry spaghetti Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 35 minutes Simply... 1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan or frying pan and brown mince. 2. Add Recipe Base, water, tomatoes and mushrooms; stir to combine. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Cook spaghetti Following packet directions; drain. Combine spaghetti with Bolognese mixture. Serve topped with shaved Parmesan, oregano leaves and a tossed green salad on the side.

As our inventory levels change on a minute-by-minute basis, the products displayed on our website only indicate the range available, not inventory. Please be assured we will always endeavour to supply your order in full as much as possible.

For Zone 1 Customers (local) it is now $7 and for Zone 2 Customers (Outer Suburbs) it is now $10 for delivery, while still offerring free same day Click & Collect.
